SignalScrape ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our automated forex trading platform ("Platform" or "Service").

By using SignalScrape, you consent to the data practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use our Platform.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you register for an account, we collect:

  • Phone number
  • Password (hashed and encrypted)
  • Account creation date and timestamps

2.2 MetaTrader Account Information

To enable automated trading, we collect and store:

  • MetaTrader account number (login ID)
  • MetaTrader server name
  • MetaTrader API connection ID
  • Account type (MT4/MT5)
  • Broker name
  • Connection timestamps and verification dates

IMPORTANT: We do NOT store your MetaTrader password. Your password is used only to establish the initial connection through the MetaTrader API and is never stored in our database. The MetaTrader API handles authentication and we only store the API connection ID.

2.3 Trading and Risk Settings

We collect and store:

  • Margin percentage settings
  • Maximum daily risk limits
  • Position size preferences
  • Maximum positions settings
  • Trading enabled/disabled status

2.4 Subscription and Channel Data

We collect information about:

  • Telegram channels you subscribe to
  • Subscription dates and status
  • Channel preferences and settings

2.5 Trading Activity Data

We collect and store information about trades executed through the Platform:

  • Trade execution records
  • Signal information (instrument, direction, entry/exit prices)

We do NOT sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

4.1 Third-Party Service Providers

We share information with third-party services necessary to operate the Platform:

  • MetaTrader API: To execute trades on your broker account (we share account number and API connection ID, NOT your password)
  • MetaTraderAPI: To retrieve market price data (we do not share your personal information with this service)
  • Email Service Providers (Resend): To send you emails (we share your email address and name)
  • Hosting and Infrastructure: Our cloud hosting providers (e.g., Vercel, Railway) may have access to data as part of their services
  • Database Providers: Our database hosting service (e.g., Railway PostgreSQL) stores your data

4.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government regulation, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to:

  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Protect our rights and property
  • Prevent fraud or abuse
  • Protect the safety of users or the public

4.3 Business Transfers

If SignalScrape is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change in ownership or control.

When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes. Trading records and analytics data may be retained in anonymized form for historical analysis.
